So if two warriors were fighting each other in the midst of battle, would it be seen as improper to stab one in the back rather than letting the duel play itself out?
I’m starting to think this might be a more complex question than previously imagined with no one answer. I’m sure the time period, combatants, and reasons for fighting could all potentially play a role in the answer. But it’s a question that’s plagued me for years and I would Iove to hear some of y’alls insights!
