Would an historian help guide me with translating the columns and some text (Latin) in Ukrainian metrical records?

by jweaving

I'm my family's historian and I've recently done extensive research with my family's origins in the Ukraine, gathering metrical records. I have a decent grasp of the Latin in the documents, but I'm a little unfamiliar with the column headings and some words in the text for the entries.

Would someone be able to help me with a few entries to get me started so I can use it as a template to begin translating my batch of records?

Thank you in advance!

Do you have photos or transcriptions? You should post an imgur album so people can see your files and help!

I'd also suggest cross-posting this to /r/latin. Maybe /r/genealogy, too--they're great with old hands, so it wouldn't surprise me if they'd also be familiar with the abbreviations likely to show up in the sorts of records you're dealing with.

This is probably too old-focused and west-focused to be a useful resource (you didn't mention what era docs you're looking at) but Capelli (PDF) collects Latin abbreviations from western European medieval sources, the common ones which I see in early modern use as well. Maybe?
