I've been reading old newspapers about a small town near me. Between various articles and publications I am getting a picture in my head of communist Finnish lumber jacks teaming up with moonshiners backed by organized crime in open battle with deputized klansman and lumber barons working with the FBI. Sorry that was a huge run on sentence.
