Considering how highly associated Christianity is with Western civilization, what did the Nazis think of Christianity and its Jewish roots? Would Christianity's position as an important item of Western culture and civilization which was obviously highly admired by the Nazis undermine the Nazi position of white supremacy? How then, did Nazis explain the position of Christianity as the center of much of European history? Did the Nazis non-officially disregard Christianity and Judaism because of this? Or was it result of other factors?
There's always more to be said on the topic, but you mind be interested in this thread by /u/Georgy_K_Zhukov which discusses the relationship between the Nazis and the old testament, and this thread where /u/commiespaceinvader and /u/kieslowskifan discuss the relationship between the Nazis and religion in general.
