However, I've approved your post for now because I think with a little rewording, the question can be answered about if there was a plan for such a thing to happen, and if so what was that plan. So while we can't answer here what would happen in a hypothetical situation, we can discuss if the allies had thought of this as a possibility and what they had discussed relating to it.

If you could, please edit the body of your post so that it's more about that, and then it won't get removed. Or you're welcome to delete it and re-post with altered wording. Either is fine.
