The liner of the helmet has some symbols on the outside that I can’t seem to figure out what they indicate/represent. I’m not too educated on anything ww2, so I could use some help.

One is a blue shield with gold lining and a golden star in the corner. The other is hard to make out but is a different shape of blue shield with orange lining and some orange shape in the center (scratched off partially)
