I'm fascinated about early Sumerian society and culture. As someone that wants to learn as much as possible from reliable sources, what would you recommend reading?
Thanks, and I'm looking forward to your suggestions!
The recommendations will depend on your interests, but I recommend beginning with the AskHistorians reading list. The list contains a section on general ancient Near Eastern resources as well as books specifically on the Sumerians.
