Get to the capital of the region you live in and head next to the palace / government centre, where people are demanding press freedom and constitutions and/or storming the said places to force these changes on the representatives of old regimes.

Also: practice building barricades. Barricades are important and super useful in 1848.

Most likely you still won’t be able to get involved to democracy proper, since suffrage in your area will most likely limited to people of wealth above what you can realistically achieve. So revolutionary action is your best bet of having any action.

Just go with the flow and fuck shit up, since Metternich has had the boot and it’s the springtime of the people! Woohoo!

ps. If you are a wuss (like me) you can also become a journalist intellectual and just write seditious and revolutionary journalism. This actually might land you in some position of power. Or exile but that’s how it goes.
