I’m looking for recommendations on any academic history books (as opposed to pop history) that focuses on Medieval Europe. To be more specific, I concentrate on Germany during the High Middle Ages and topics such as the Crusades and Church history. I recently finished Holy Warriors by Richard Kaeuper and am looking for new reads. Thanks!
