Were there any US Military Bases in Texas during WW2 that would be the "rest stop" before sending Marines from the United States to Europe? What about marine training facilities?
Is there something behind this question? Because the answer is "No", mainly since, as covered here, there were no significant Marine deployments in the European Theater, the Marines fighting almost exclusively on the Pacific Front.
