I'm currently reading L.A García Moreno's "Spain 702-719: The Muslim Conquest", and it has inspired me to learn about the culture and the politics of the Visigoths, as well as their history. Though the aforementioned book has a quite impressive bibliography and lists several books on the matter, it feels quite overwhelming and it's hard to navigate through the list without much knowledge.
