Im trying to learn more history and im curious about what books or other sources are the most reliable and interesting, particulary world history and European history
AskHistorians has an extensive book list at https://www.reddit.com/r/AskHistorians/wiki/books and under. They aren't ranked, but they often have a mini-review.
This is not to discourage discussion. More suggestions, questions, data, and debate are welcome.
