In general these kind of stats are more misleading than informative. It's not really that that is kind of age people are living to, it's that there is high infant mortality, and if you have a lot of poeple dieing before age 1, it's going to crash the life expectancy. Young infants are vulnerable and have high death rates, if you make it past childhood your life expectancy is much higher.
