Im buying a WW2 british helmet and it had the letters on it RPC and i googled it but there is barely any info on it so im asking historians as to what the RPC was?
RPC stands for Royal Pioneer Corps, who were essentially a chimera between the Royal Engineers and a logistics regiment, and who were in charge of essentially light engineering projects, stores, preparing field defences and so on.
