Did the Iberian Christian kingdoms ever express annoyance with the rest of Europe that crusader armies were going so far away when there was a Muslim kingdom right next door to their south?

I'm wondering if the Iberian Christian kingdoms ever publicly said anything against the crusades to try to divert them to Iberia, or expressed dissatisfction with troops being sent so far away. Or am I making a mistake thinking that the Levant was actually more difficult to reach for most of the participating armies than Iberia?

EDIT: Changed "less" to "more".

I wrote about the ideological underpinnings of the crusades as they relate to Iberia here.

There never would have been much of an expectation that Christians from around Europe would join in an armed pilgrimage to anywhere in Spain, simply because, holy war or no, it didn't have the draw Jerusalem did. Indeed, the bigger concern seems to have been Church authorities trying to make sure people didn't run off to Jerusalem from Spain instead of fighting locally.
