As you can see, it's extremely detailed, and I'm curious which of the witnesses reported on this event in such a way.
couldn't find any previously asked threads that answered this question in this sub, but /u/facepoundr has a "russian history" flair and has answered various questions on the Romanovs so he may be able to shed some light on where this description comes from (and how accurate it is etc)
