No, there really isn't.
Steven Kotkin has written a biography on Stalin and goes threw details about the actual papers Stalin had on his desk threw-out the whole period and he claims that there is absolutely no evidence of policy directly target towards Ukrainian or genocide of Ukrainians.
Rather Stalin wanted to continue exporting and demand high exports from the different parts of the empire. He did not believe that this would lead to famine and was late to recognize this and even later actually changing anything.
And lets remember that does not mean Stalin is not at fault, he is responsible.

P.S: Also, one should say that this say nothing about the lower levels of the government and their motivations. I am specifically talking about Stalin and what went threw his office.
Much has been and can be written, but you might like to see the previous discussion in the section of the FAQ titled "The Holodomor". The replies in the first discussion link to further discussion.
EDIT (mostly for future reference / use): Several more specific links, as well as an FAQ link, can be found in "How true is the claim that the Holodomor famine was a man made famine by the Soviet Union to crush Ukranian Nationalism?" by /u/mikedash.
This is not to discourage discussion. More questions, data, and debate are welcome.
