I recently watched an interesting documentary about Scandinavians fighting in the 5.SS division on the eastern front during WW2.
It said that red army women soldiers who were captured got executed on the spot similar to how political commissars were dealt with.
Since the Nazis usually always had method to their madness, does anyone know what the twisted logic behind this was?
