Can you give an example/source of your claim? I am not aware of this "apparent animosity" Germans supposedly have for Slavs.

It may also help if you specify an era. Germans and Slavs interact with each other significantly since 6th century CE.

As an add on, I'm curious what the view of bohemian slav's by Germans during the late 19th/early 20th centuries. Bohemia had the most interaction with German states so was wondering if ethnographic "science" considered them less Slavic than say polish or Ukrainian
