Genghis Khan famously led his mongol horde across China, the Middle East and Europe. Laying waste to many before him. Indeed, I have heard that the Mongol invasion of Arab territory caused a destruction of books and treatises on a scale such that Arab learning is still trying to recover from its impact, and the losses it incurred even unto today.
So, what remnants of Mongol philosophy, religion or general teachings remain in the Middle East or Europe? I mean we have the philosophy of Plato and Socrates in western Europe, and Arabic mathematics and astronomy. So what remains of Mongol teachings?
As an aside, the affects of the mongols on islamic learning has really been exaggerated especially by pop historians
