I have some WW2 ships and i thought they were recognition ships but someone has pointed out the stamp under the ship and apparently they are tremo model ships?
Tremo is the name of the company that made the model ships, short for Treforest Mouldings. They manufactured 1:2000 scale model warships from 1937 to 1946, with a hiatus during the war.
This pamphlet for Tremo models claims that their ships were “used by official sources for recognition and other purposes”, and this advert states that the company "supplied to the Admiralty and the RAF", so it's possible your ships are recognition ships. Tremo is only the name of the manufacturer.
