(1918 - 1945) "Finland was punished without having ever done anything wrong." How credible ist the drift-wood theory?

by [deleted]

complete quote:

Finland was punished after heroically resisting the Red Army, the fake partisans and the RAF and the Royal Navy and after eventually been forced to expel the Wermacht, defeating them all and without having ever done anything wrong.

It's not the first time I've read something like this. Was Finland really a victim of circumstances or is the truth, as usually, in the middle?

there is evidence that the finnish secret police aided and abetted the nazis and I believe did work with the nazis during the war for a period
