This appears to be yet another example of why you shouldn't believe everything you read on Wikipedia. The only evidence of this war existing is its Wikipedia page. Looking at the edit history of the page, the only edits have been by bots or what appears to be the same person on different accounts. Upon closer inspection the person in question and their various alternate accounts have been warned several times for vandalism and unconstructive edits of various pages relating to Indian/Punjabi wars and battles. A since removed edit by the same account claims that Sir Hugh Gough was the commander of the war, which is impossible given that he was fighting in Spain at the time, and was also a regular army officer, not a Company one. In short, this page shouldn't exist and there's no evidence this war ever happened.
