I’m looking to study the Punic Wars and want to cross reference historical accounts, what semi-contemporary sources should I look at other than Polybius and Livy?
You could look into the Life of Hannibal by Cornelius Nepos, bearing in mind that it is a biography with the idea of exponing a moral lesson and not just a historically accurate description, à la Plutarch.
