To specifically address your titular question (see linked answer for expounding), YHWH has no pre-Biblical attestation, but shares similarities with Ba'al, an Ugaritic storm deity. The alternative name for God, El/Elohim, (akin to "Allah") is however attested in earlier Near Eastern religions as a type of elder, or "King of the Gods".
