What was the composition of Crusader Armies?

by SirKristopher

I was wondering that, when we think of the crusades we think of the traditional Knight in mail armor and a greathelm, often a Knights Templar (the ones with the red cross), but how many Knights even were in these crusader armies compared to other troops? What kind of troops were taken along? Crossbowmen, Archers, Peasant Levies, anyone other than Knights are not really talked about.

And I know "Crusades" are broad, but I'm not really wondering about any specific one, so any of the Crusades will do.

Are we talking about the army of a Crusade (in which case which one because they are all a bit different) or the armies of the Kingdom of Jerusalem? Also when, as it changed substantially over time.
