Germany Before and after the Great War

by KriegyKinks

I'm doing German at A Level, and I have to make a speech for my grade, in sixth months time. I'm starting my work early, because I don't want to get caught knowing nothing a week before I have to do it :^)

I chose to look into "How did the First World War change Germany"

so, I need to know before and after die Versailler Freidensvertag

I'll do the translating later down the line, I just want to know everybody else's take on die Vaterland before and after the Great War

My main points will focus on Politically, Economically, Militarily, die Konigs.

I'm mainly looking for resources. Youtube videos, articles, etc.

Tidbits of information, that I can slide into my speech, such as how Germany had the largest standing army besides Russia before the war, and was only second to Britain in terms of expertise and equipment, but at the end of the war was reduced to mere rubble, and then I'd give the statistic for how many men the treaty stipulated were allowed, etc.
