My classical civilizations teacher made a slideshow for us and in the language section she said that Linear A was deciphered in 2014. The Wikipedia page for Linear A (last edited on 7 September 2018) said it's still hasn't been deciphered. She said she found an article a while ago about how it was deciphered but the only article I can find that speaks of it being deciphered is this. Since everything else I find speaks of it still not being deciphered, I really don't want to believe that article.
I agree in that everywhere I'm looking is still saying that Linear A has yet to be deciphered. From what I can tell from the link that you posted, that gentleman is claiming that he has deciphered it, but I believe there would need to be multiple verifications, from multiple scholars, all agreeing, for it to be truly deciphered. That hasn't happened as of yet.
I fear we may be stuck waiting for some kind of Rosetta stone to be discovered before we will truly be able to decipher Linear A.
