Every time an old picture makes it to the front page, there's bound to be at least one comment talking about how everyone wears suits and tie, even to places like the beach. I'm just curious as to when and why that changed.
Not to discourage further discussion, but u/chocolatepot (now u/mimicofmodes) had an answer on the trend towards casual clothing specifically with regard to hats here.
