Why George Washington turned his back on the Brit and fought with the americans?

Since he was a brit, why did he turned his back on the brit army and decided to fight with the american?

How the brit empire reacted when they knew he was fighting with the other side?

What was the "son's of liberty" and was he a part of this?

Why they chose George Washington for the 1st president of USA and not someone who was born in USA ?

As for your last question, Washington was elected President in 1789. The United States had only existed for 13 years at this point. Not having a 13-year-old President is self-explanatory. Washington was, like most of the Revolutionary leaders, born in the territory that became the United States.
