To clarify, im wondering if there is a way to do it other than forging, as i want to make some armor, but my forge cant acomedate such large pieces and i know i would have to do a lot of grinding to get it even and free of forge scale. So if there is any method (from any time period) that isnt forging and filing for days, i would love to know.
