I remember seeing in various fictional works, movies, TV shows and video games how both sides supposedly were not supposed toshoot at medics, though this was usually a point of drama when the medic then got shot anyway. To what degree the combatants actually avoid shooting at medics? To what degree were medics actually not arm?
