The mindset of women back in middle ages counted as spoils of war

by Seriouswall117

Ok just saying now, I'm not supporting rape or anything. But I want to wrap my mind about this.

How did woman feel back then knowing that a stronger empire could raid their lands, kill their husbands and rape them as much as the soilders wanted to. To be treated as spoils of war and loot instead of a human being.

Also how offen did the woman get pregnant from the wartime rape?

Ps. Im just wondering the mindset of woman. Once more, not saying I support wartime rape.

Edit: the link had a lot of good info on why they start fighting but I was mostly wondering was it a constant worry they had or were they like "it may happen but mostly wont" mindset.
