We often tell the stories of the heroic actions of the German and Italians resistance while discussing World War 2. Were their any comparable movements or organizations in Japan? What forms did Resistance by Japanese people against the Japanese Government take, if it happened at all?
Tangential question: do we in fact often tell stories of heroic actions of resistance within Germany and Italy? I've only seen one or two films about German resistance, and none about Italian resistance. What are some good examples?
