Yes and no. There aren't going to be books that focus on the 18th century that cover the entire globe. However, you'll find college textbooks that cover specific periods during the 18th century. More importantly, you can find books, usually written for an academic audience, that write about the 18th century buy through the lens of a particular country. Books like Frank O'Gorman's The Long Eighteenth Century: British Political and Social History 1688-1832, do a fabulous job of trying to tell the story of 18th century political and social history in a single volume.
