Just a quick note, I'm generally interested in reading academic books but I'm currently in the deep end of a linguistics degree and have to contend with far too many as it is, so when my annoyingly easy to distract brain decided to become interested in 19th century history I realised that another dry monologue from some old book that smells far greater than it reads may just be too much, and thus the title of this post was born! Having said that I would like to finish by saying an academic book is fine as a last resort, I might just have to read it when I finish my degree.
