Can Anybody Help Me Identify the Origin of these Bullets?

I would like to buy these bullets for a friend but I cannot identify the exact origin of them. I would like to add an identification card in his gift because he's a big history buff. I don't wanna look stupid but I thought it'd be a great idea. http://imgur.com/gallery/kxeLJxL

It will greatly assist identification if you can provide the following information:

  1. Geographical location
  2. Information about the store from which you're seeking to purchase the bullets
  3. Any additional information which either you or the seller has which may be pertinent.

A picture alone won't give folks a huge amount to go on.

Looks like minie balls. U.S. Civil war era. Are there any battlefields around the area you are buying them from?
