Do any CREDIBLE historians subscribe to the idea of “cultural marxism”?

I see this concept repeated over and over on right wing platforms, and frankly it sounds like propaganda to me, however I am willing to at least look at the historical evidence for such a phenomenon. Can you guys point me to any credible respected historians that actually put any stock into this?

Or am I right to dismiss it as a boogeyman/placeholder for anything right wing zealots don’t like?
