Where would I go to find primary sources on the unfication of Japan and the 3 unifiers?

by kcweb25

I've been attempting to find sources for an essay, but most of what I find is in Spanish or has a ridiculously high price, so do any of you know of resources where I could find sources?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm not sure what primary sources you are looking for, as where to get them depends heavily of what they are. Is it authentic Japanese sources you are looking for? If you can read Japanese and can travel to Japan, the Hensanjo in university of Tokyo has a huge temple text collection which would be useful on this topic.

There's a lot of secondary sources on this topic in JSTOR if you have access to it. Most should be in English.
