Could I ask for just a little more specificity before I (or anyone else) go off on a long spiel about a specific booklist you're not really interested in? Are you talking more about the concept of a 'bestseller list' in general or did you have a specific one in mind when you asked the question (such as the NYT Bestseller List, etc)?
