Remembering WW1

by BonesOfAmber

Hello r/AskHistorians. With the 100th anniversary of world war 1 coming up this Sunday (tomorrow) I wanted to brush up on my knowledge of this time. It has been a few years since I learned about it in school and the last thing I saw/read about it was the wonder woman movie. I wanted to ask if there are any documentaries or books you would recommend about the war. If You could also give a brief reason why you recommend that source would be awesome too.

Thank you guys for your time and suggestions.

Hi there. If you haven't already, you might want to check out the WWI section of the /r/askhistorians reading list: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskHistorians/wiki/books/wwi

Hi there! Fortunately the r/Askhistorians booklist has a huge section of books about the First World War, ranging from the very broad to the very detailed. That list is by no means an exhaustive one so if there's any particular section you would like to learn about in more detail then ask away.
