Did the Boston Harbor become at all infused by the sheer quantity of tea leaves dumped into it after the Boston Tea Party? I just had this thought and I’m highly intrigued.

92000 pounds of tea were dumped. It takes half a cup or so of tea to make a gallon. 652,035 gallons of tea could be made. Unfortunately I cannot find the capacity of Boston harbor so that's as far as I could take an answer. I apologize in advance for answering with math rather than history. I will check back and delete myself once a more historical answer appears.
