Where can I find resources for the Sengoku Period of Japan? Specifically around the year 1567.

by DreadedL1GHT

Long story short, I'm DMing a campaign (in 5th edition D&D) in the Sengoku Period of Japan around 1567 (just before the invasion of Mino by Nobunaga Oda), but I'm finding it hard to find a map of that time period. I'd also appreciate having more resources for the period, but not really sure where to look. Any help would be appreciated.

So first, Nobunaga has been fighting Mino since before his father-in-law died in 1556, and even if we don't count his failed attempts to save and then to avenge his father-in-law, he still invaded Mino in 1561. 1567 is when he finished his conquest of Mino.

Second, I highly doubt anyone would have done research on a specific year. You can refer to Japonius Tyrannus: The Japanese Warlord Oda Nobunaga Reconsidered by Jeroen Lamers for a look at Nobunaga's life, and that's really as far as I know off the top of my head. Or, if you can read early-modern Japanese, I can tell you where to find the primary sources.

If you need a map, I might be able to find one in one of my Japanese reference books and scan it. But it'd be in Japanese. If you have specific questions, you can just ask here(if it's not an in-depth question, you can ask in short-answers for simple questions or just PM me).
