If Egypt was the only Bronze Age civilization that survived the collapse during the 12th century BCE, why were they incapable of taking advantage of their neighbors weakness to conquer them?

Also why was Egypt the only Kingdom capable of surviving the collapse and why didn’t they fall like the Hittites and Assyrians?

The question is inherently flawed because Egypt didn't survive the collapses at the end of the Late Bronze Age - not intact, at least. Whereas New Kingdom Egypt was a unified state, Egypt was highly fragmented in the Third Intermediate Period.

There's always more to be said on the topic, but I touched on Egypt and the Bronze Age "collapses" in this post and this post.
