I was reading about the North Sentinel Island and how that missionary was murdered and a lot of articles talked about how the missionary was putting the tribe at risk of getting various diseases. It got me thinking about how Columbus brought disease to the Americas. If disease is caught from contact with people from other parts of the world, How come it seems as though the natives were the only ones affected?
