Is there any us army units called The Proud Ones? I have a m1 helmet from 1972 and the liner has a old sticker of a line with a big 1 on it the 2 muskets crossing through it in yellow and blue with the saying the proud ones underneath. Haven't been able to find anything on it any help appreciated.

It says the liner was made in Oct 27th of 1972 and the metal bucket has a serial number I believe that is what it is reading 1 2202. (Edit sticker of a lion not line)
