Roman concept of 0

by marcvvs

Was there any way the Romans had to write the number 0 or did they have that concept at all?

I understand it was introduced by the Muslims after the Romans so I’m curious as to how they dealt with it.

They used the word nulla, or an N. There are examples of this from various sources.

The Romans and Greeks didn't really believe zero to be a number, as you couldn't divide with it. But they absolutely had the concept of nothing, like if you had 5 apples and ate 5 apples you'd have none left.
