Perhaps this is a request for clarification...
Given that the Supreme court ruled in Chy Lung v Freeman in 1876 that the states had no authority to make immigration policy, and it has been consistently held that they lack even the power to enforce federal immigration policy, what immigration policies of Texas have you found from other time periods?
