Ok, so my grandmother's brother pasted away recently and in his house we found one of chairman mao's red book which he smuggled out of china during his day as a sailor. But everything is written in what seems like arabic, why would they even bother to print it in anything other than chinese?
Could you post a photo of the cover and some of the text? The Arabic script is used for several languages, and you don’t seem certain it is Arabic - that information might help get you an answer.
