Referring to the armor (for those that could afford it) of the late middle ages, what would someone experience marching for two weeks straight without removing the armor (besides the helmet for eating and drinking)? I'm specifically inquiring about potential chafing, bruising, or other physical consequences.
I'll preface this by saying that you would never willing wear full plate armor for two weeks straight. Or even 24 hours. The only circumstances I can imagine this happening would be maybe some sort of desperate post-battle retreat, but even then it's a stretch. But I get your point, so.
You'd be exhausted. The armor weighs a lot, it would make it hard to get decent sleep. You'd sleep eventually because you'd just get that tired, but it wouldn't be particularly restful, you'd likely wake up any time you moved a bit because of the noise. If you were in a cold climate, you might be warm, but if you're in the hot, you're slowly baking yourself. You'd probably get some form of sweat blisters eventually, almost like bed sores.
Chafing would be an issue though not as much as you might think. If you're wearing plate armor then you'd almost definitely be wearing the armor that goes underneath it, specifically a padded coat called a Gambeson. Among other things, this prevents contact between skin and plate for the most part, but it's not foolproof and so you'd likely have some chafing and raw skin, particularly around your neck, collar, and wrists.
Plate suits were designed to evenly distribute weight where possible, and so you wouldn't necessarily be physically crippled due to that, but it would weigh a ton and thus you'd get tired fairly quickly.
Also, some suits, particularly as the middle ages progressed, made allowances for the use of the bathroom, but early suits did not, and even the ones with the allowances will not be easy or comfortable to use the restroom in, especially defecation. It's possible, but it would be a very tiring process to pull off enough pieces or open enough flaps to adequately do your business. Urination isn't such a big deal, but it's still a process.
As for your armor, it's going to be in a sorry state. It may have started to rust from exposure to sweat. If you're wearing it, it can't be properly maintained by your groom or armorer and so buckles and hinges will start to wear. The entire thing, especially the gambeson, will stink to high heaven, badly enough that people wouldn't want to stand near you.
